Rough Trade Saint
Young, hung, and full of vitriol: Rough Trade Saint is the random thoughts, likes, whims, fancies, and variances of a scruffy mid 30's queer in the midwest.

Gary Numan - Down In The Park (by warezstream)

Gary Numan is one of those truly under appreciated, unheralded music pioneers. His post punk, electronic work with Tubeway Army and his early solo stuff laid a foundation for so much underground and popular music to follow. The use of instrumentation, synths, melody and discordant sounds, as well as lyrics about alienation and the human condition inspired by literature and film were superior to so much of the music coming out at that time. His influence on pop, techno, industrial, metal, alternative, post punk, and even hip hop (ask a lot of the old school guys) is immeasurable. Sadly, in the United States, beyond the underground and music fanatics, he is a novelty, 80s one hit wonder due to the overused, but still brilliant single, “Cars”. He is still producing amazing, edgy, music that has taken on a darker, more guitar driven industrial edge. Without a doubt, one of my absolute favorite musicians…
